AnthroCon 2013 and some helpful tips please?!

Hey guys and gals, Jazzer here with an update and a little help on suggestions and tips. I plan on going to AC.... scratch that I am going to AC this year due to I didn't go last year, anyway I have five months to get ready for this and I was going to do a fullsuit but now I was thinking about it and I might just do a partial. I would like some helpful advice for those who own or did partials. Anything would be great right now especially those who had canine-type suits, my OC fav.me/d555anf

I want to do just the head, hand paws, feet paws and Tail's.

Troubling thing is the design on the head is the one thing that worries me, if there is anyone who can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
